The Nebraska Water Center’s 2022 annual report is now available. This report highlights the research, outreach, and training done to support the Water Center’s mission in 2022. Featured articles include the water sciences laboratory, AltEn contamination monitoring, and the Know Your Well project.
In 2022, the Nebraska Water Center trained 13 undergraduate student interns, funded three postdoctoral researchers, received more than $3.5 million in grants to water faculty and staff, published 25 journal articles, and hosted or co-hosted 23 events.
The Nebraska Water Center is part of the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute. Both organizations work together to support water research, education, and outreach. Generally, the Nebraska Water Center focuses on issues within the state of Nebraska and the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute focuses on issues with a global impact.
