Howard G. Buffett's "40 CHANCES: Finding Hope in a Hungry World" exhibition brings into focus the powerful forces that fuel hunger and poverty. His photography is a call to action to find lasting solutions to the world hunger crisis and is on display at The Durham Museum through January 30, 2021.
The museum, with the help of community organizations and experts, is hosting a round table series examining how global themes in this exhibit impact us locally.
DWFI was invited to participate in a panel for the first week with the theme of "hunger and water," along with Together Omaha and No More Empty Pots. Frances Hayes, DWFI director of communications and public relations discussed the close relationship between hunger and water and local impacts of extreme weather events. The full recording of the round table can be viewed at the Youtube link above.
