The Nebraska Water Center, in partnership with the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Natural Resources, kicks off this year's Spring Water Seminar Series in on Feb. 2. The first seminar explores the Antelope Valley project with guests Wynn Hjermstad, community development manager for the City of Lincoln and Glenn Johnson, former general manager or the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District.
The second seminar held Feb. 16 features Shane Sigle, river designer at JEO Consulting Firm and Steve Rames, city engineer for the City of Norfolk, both discussing the North Fork Development Project.
Overall, the 2022 series will highlight the significance that water holds in and around Nebraska and its ability to bring people from all walks of life together. The series is open to the public and will be held at Hardin Hall on the university’s East Campus at 3:30 p.m. every other Wednesday through April 20.
