The Platte River Recovery Implementation Program (PRRIP) is one of the most successful large-scale ecosystem recovery programs in the United States. The program’s goal is to support endangered species dependent on the health of the Platte River ecosystem. One of the ways PRRIP does this is by implementing different incentive-based water management projects. The PRRIP was created via a partnership among multiple states, federal and local agencies and groups and is managed considering the needs of all water stakeholders including agricultural and municipal water users.
Join us on April 8th, 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. CDT to learn how PRRIP has seen success in implementing its recovery program using economic incentives.
