C.K. Duryea has nearly 20 years of development experience having worked for the Salvation Army, Methodist Hospital Foundation, World Vision, Children International and now the University of Nebraska Foundation. In 2013, Duryea received the Robert J. Sandberg Award for her notable and distinct service to the gift planning profession.
Prior to entering the fundraising world, she was legal counsel for twelve years for the late Senator LaVon Crosby of Lincoln, Nebraska. Duryea was born and raised on a farm in Seward County, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in English and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska Law College. Her passion is helping people find how they want to make a difference in the world and helping them find ways to do it.
