On February 25, DWFI Executive Director Joe Sanders joined agriculture, business and policy leaders from across Nebraska in Lincoln for a luncheon titled “When America Leads, Nebraska Wins.” Hosted by the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), the event highlighted how strategic investment in international assistance strengthens our national security and expands opportunities for Nebraska’s agricultural community, businesses, and workforce.
The event featured The Honorable Bonnie Glick, Senior Fellow for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and former Deputy Administrator and Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), who spoke on the critical role of American leadership in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
As a key partner in global food and water security, DWFI participated in the discussions, which emphasized Nebraska’s global agricultural leadership and expertise.
