Water for Food Institute Social Media Engagement Guidelines
The Water for Food Institute at the University of Nebraska supports open dialogue on its website and social media platforms. Our goal is to provide and promote useful information, opinions and ideas related water and food security, while encouraging all voices to be respectful. The institute reserves the right to review and/or delete inappropriate comments, tweets or other online communication that falls within these parameters:
- Abusive, profane comments or hate speech (including but not limited to racial, ethnic or gender bashing language)
- Spam, unaffiliated events/promotions or links to third party sites. Please keep the conversation relevant to the community and contribute to the dialogue.
- Personal attacks or defamatory statements or comments, instead of offering productive criticism
- Comments that violate one’s privacy
We will make every effort to respond to comments in a timely manner.
