Erin Haacker uses computer modeling and statistical methods to understand water resources. Through her work on the High Plains Aquifer, she focuses on analyzing groundwater use for irrigated agriculture, and both intended and unintended consequences of land use change and resource management.

Erin is finishing a Ph.D. at Michigan State University. She has bachelor’s degrees in zoology and international field geology, awarded jointly from University of Montana and University College Cork.
