The 2023 Water for Food Global Conference featured a juried poster competition for graduate students, along with a "people's choice" award based on votes from attendees at the conference.
The conference was a premier opportunity for students to present their posters to hundreds of international scientists, scholars and decision-makers from academia, government, industry, private foundations and NGOs. In addition to visibility, winners received prizes in the amount of $1,000, $750, $500, and $250 for first place, second place, third place, and people's choice respectively. Participating students also received discounted registration to the conference, held May 8-11, 2023
