One in four people is likely to live in a country affected by chronic or recurring freshwater shortages. Water reuse is a viable alternative to alleviate water needs in such areas. The United Nations has proposed in the 2030 goals to cut down by 50% the proportion of untreated wastewater and substantially increase recycling and safe reuse globally. In this session, a select group of experts will share what water reuse implementation looks like from the lenses of critical stakeholders, including academia, not-for-profit organizations, and regulatory agencies.
