This annual Faculty and Student Research Forum showcases innovative research towards water and food security. It also serves as a culmination of yearly activities from the Student Support Award Program. The first five years of the program funded 47 projects. With an annual investment of approximately half a million dollars, as of 2018, this is DWFI's largest program area. The award amount from DWFI is matched one-to-one with faculty funds, ensuring a student can be supported full-time through a master's or PhD program. This event is free and open to the public. The agenda will include short graduate student presentations, a student poster session, a science communication mini-workshop, and a buffet lunch.
