Melba Mussagy

Melba obtained her Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness and a Master's degree in Business Management in the Philippines. A passionate Programme Manager in iDE-Mozambique, Melba leads projects that empower women to become productive actors in the agriculture value chain. Through a team of over 35 specialists and agronomists, iDE is capacitating more than 10,000 women producers in Central Mozambique to improve their livelihoods. By enabling rural women entrepreneurs to have access to technologies, finance, adequate business skills, and markets, iDE is providing inputs and market access to over 100,000 smallholders in last mile communities, 56% of whom are women.
