Honours & Awards: El-Neelain Highest Award by President of the Sudan 2017; Alumni Prize IHE-Delft NL 2016; Honour Society of Phi-Kappa-Phi, and USU, USA 1996; One of the top five candidates , Oklahoma International Water Prize 2022.
Experience: 46 years of combined Professional and Research Experience- different capacities in the Ministry Irrigation and Water Resources and as ED-Nile Basin Initiative-Entebbe, UG.
Field of Expertise: Transboundary Water (28yrs) , including Water Diplomacy, Negotiation Skills; River Morphology (6yrs); Dam Engineering (3yrs); Teaching and research (20yrs); Consultant Engineer.
Current Job: Director, the Centre of Water Security Studies and Capacity Development. Sudan.
