
Laura Nagengast is an Environmental Health Extension Educator, serving in a joint role with the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Water, Climate, and Health Program and Nebraska Extension. She holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Public Health degree focused on public health administration and policy, from UNMC. Laura is dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific research and public understanding of environmental health challenges. She collaborates with communities, public health organizations, and other key stakeholders to raise awareness of the connections between water, climate, and human health. Through education and partnership-building, Laura works to develop collaborative solutions that address environmental issues and their impact on public well-being.
