Benjamin Kiersch is the global coordinator for FAO's ScaleWat project on responsible water tenure governance. He joined FAO in 1999, focusing on water and land management and governance. With extensive experience in leading technical assistance programs and policy dialogues, he has served as FAO land and water officer in Latin America and the Caribbean, worked with adelphi consult in Germany, and consulted for GIZ. He holds a degree in environmental engineering and post-graduate training in development studies.
