James Garza is a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a major in Global Studies and minors in Arabic, history, and national security studies. His focus is on international relations, foreign policy, and Middle Eastern studies.
James worked with the Water for Food institute on a project examining the Syrian refugee crisis and its implications on water and food security in Jordan. He also served as an intern for the U.S. Embassy in Muscat, Oman working in the Public Affairs section. His educational experience includes study in Jordan and Oman for Arabic and culture.
